This page explains how to refer to 42Cells in writing and how to use our brand assets. The intent is to reduce confusion, avoid accidental endorsement, and keep things consistent.
Names
- Product: “42Cells”
- Company: “42Cells”
- Capitalization: Always capitalize “42” and “Cells” as a single word.
- Pluralization: Prefer “42Cells” (not “42Cell”).
Tagline / positioning
- “The answer is in your data.”
- “Ask better questions, one cell at a time.”
Usage rules
- Don’t use our name or logos in any way that could mistakenly imply an official connection with or endorsement by 42Cells.
- Don’t modify the logo proportions or distort it.
- Don’t create confusingly similar marks, icons, or wordmarks.
Trademark
The 42Cells name and logos are trademarks of 42Cells. We love our community, but we depend on clear brand ownership to avoid confusion and protect users.
Please don’t use the 42Cells name or logos in any way that could reasonably suggest an official relationship with, or endorsement by, 42Cells. Any use that could confuse customers is not permitted.
Also, you may not use our trademarks on merchandise (t-shirts, stickers, or similar items) without explicit written permission.

For now, please use the assets already shipped with the site (e.g. logo.png, favicon.svg). We’ll add downloadable brand packs when we’ve finalized lockups, sizes, and color definitions.
